Last year I bought this electric blue woollen coat from Talking French. It will still do this year, as I am still in love with this coat! the cut, the fabric but especially that colour… this fab electric blue…

When I went ‘coat-hunting’ last year, well… it wasn’t exactly a ‘hunt’ I must admit… I only tried on one coat and I walked straight to the cash register! Yep… if I want to, I can really make up my mind quickly 🙂

I bought this coat at the Talking French store in Lier, a lovely town in Flanders, I started ‘scanning’ the store for coats. My eyes were immediately drawn to this fab colour. I tried it on in two different sizes and the decision was made! I think this colour really stands out and it looks lovely on me.

As it is quite an eye-catching colour, I often get compliments when wearing this coat. I like the wider cut. I am too small to be wearing oversized stuff, but this cut is just perfect for me : fitted at the shoulders (I don’t want to look like a body-builder), a bit wider at the hips (perfect to hide those!) and at the bottom the shape goes in again.

Today I am wearing the coat with a pair of dark flared denims, my lovely blue woollen sweater with a white collar and my high block heels (my highest heels as the legs of these jeans are really long!). The scarf has a blue/black print and I love the fake fur keychain I put on my saddlebag.

I am still very happy with last year’s coat… which is perfect for my wallet 🙂
