Fashion: Dark olive green

In today’s outfit, a beautiful colour plays the lead : dark olive green. I am wearing this in two lovely fabrics : wool and silk.

Both items I got at an outlet from La Gaviotta. It was a super-buy!! If you bought 5 items, it was only 5 EUR per item… Besides this skirt I bought a black skinny jeans, a sleeveless woollen turtleneck and a dress (but that was a bad bargain…). Anyway, this outfit, a 100% merino woollen turtleneck and a 100% silk skirt, cost me a mere 10 EUR! I know… I’m good at finding great sale items 😀

I love the colour… and the rich fabrics make it extra nice! The turtleneck is finely knitted, but as it is 100% wool it is nice and warm. The skirt has a tricot waist band in the same colour as the turtleneck. The silk is almost wrinkle-free and because of the heavy fabric, the skirt falls beautifully.

I am wearing my & Other Stories earrings. The bracelet is from The Rubz (*) and it was in my goodiebag I got at the Savvy press days in Antwerp… so glad it’s mine now 🙂

On colder days I can theme the skirt and turtleneck with my long woollen vest and a green scarf. The colour of the vest is a great match with the olive green.

This is one of my favorite fall/winter outfits. Do you like this colour?

Love, Kathleen

Here you can read about those press days I went to in November (where I got that bracelet).

And here you see another outfit with my woollen vest.
