Today’s beauty post is all about the serum and day cream I currently use : L’Oréal Revitalift filler (HA).I have been using these two products for about 6 weeks now and I must say that I am really satisfied with both products. Let me tell you why…

Many of us ladies, would definitely like a wrinkle-free face which doesn’t look saggy… unfortunately we can’t turn back time so the only thing we can do is take care of our skin.

Recently I have bought these two L’Oréal Revitalift Filler products. Now if I can believe what they promise to do to my skin… you won’t recognize me in a couple of months time. Fortunately I’ve got both feet on the ground, so I take all of these promises with a grain of salt… but using them won’t hurt me and if they do just a tiny bit of what is promised, I should be just fine 🙂

RevitaLift Filler is L’Oréal Paris’ first volumizing skincare which should plumpen up your skin, solidify your jaws, fill your wrinkles and give your face a more radiant effect… 

Now the reason why L’Oréal can make these promises is, because the serum and daycream contain two ‘magical’ ingredients (amongst others of course) :

1. Hyaluronic acid : this product keeps your skin hydrated and makes your cheeks fuller. It should also fill up your wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is a sugar that appears in skin and tissue and is considered as one of the most important materials of the body.
2. Fibroxyl : this ingredient stimulates the production of collagen, which makes your skin more firm and resilient. This ingredient is also said to solidify the tissue of the skin.

Phew… all of this sounds really promising, doesn’t it?! But what do I think of these products? And do I really think my skin is fuller, more radiant, has less wrinkles and is less saggy?

Serum

The serum comes in a futuristic like tube. It actually makes me think of a large needle. You pump the ‘needle’ a couple of times to get a few drops of the serum.

The serum is light in consistency and has a pinky shine to it. Once rubbed on my face, I can immediately feel the benefits of it. The product gets absorbed by my thirsty skin and I feel the hydrating effect. My pores look smaller and my skin looks more even. After I let the serum set for a brief moment, my skin feels soft and smooth.

Cream 
The cream is medium in consistency and you certainly don’t need a lot of product. The cream feels very fresh on my skin and is pleasant to use. I rub the cream all over my face and also over my neck and I don’t forget my cleavage as that is a place where you can see the ageing effects too. My skin feels firm, soft and really hydrated.

Conlusion

I have been using both products every morning for about 6 weeks now. I really think my skin looks better than a couple of weeks ago. It feels more resilient and firm and I do believe that the wrinkles on my cheeks and near my eyes are less prominent when I smile… I should ‘ve taken before and after shots to really see the difference…

All in all I am really satisfied with these products and I will definitely buy them again!

I also started using another L’Oréal product (a peeling lotion) and I think the combination of the two products in this review and the peeling lotion really works. They complement eachother. I will certainly do a review of the peeling in a couple of weeks time, but I want to test it a bit longer before writing about it!
