Fashion: How to wear… Paris Fashion Week street style!

Posted on Updated on

I don’t know about you, but I always love those street style shots during the fashion weeks. No matter whether they’re taken in London, Milan, Paris, New York, they are always such a soure of inspiration!

In today’s fashionpost I put a couple of the Paris Fashion Week street styles in the picture with only one thing in mind… SPRING!

Even though these fashionistas were attending fall/winter fashionshows, they are definitely showing off some spring trends during Paris Fashion Week. So this fashionpost is kinda ‘get the look’ meets ‘spring trends’… enjoy!

Trend 1 : Stripes

What would spring be without stripes… Here is some inspiration to wear them a bit different… do you dare?!

Stripes ‘n red

Above you see Kerry Pieri (Harper’s Bazaar’s Digital Fashion/Features Director)  wearing a blue and white shirt dress. To add some warmth (and colour!), she puts on a red bomber jacket.

Stripes ‘n suede

This fashionable girl wears her stripes ‘n suede well, don’t you think?! I love how she styled that skirt… and that suede coat is perfect for the transistional season!

Stripes ‘n lace
I really love the look on this girl! She look so happy, even in the rain… and I bet it all has to do with that bright skirt and those fab stripes… don’t you think?!

Trend 2: Athleisure

It’s been trending for some time now…athleisure… wearing clothes designed for workouts, but wearing them for other occasions… like going to a fashionshow 🙂 Here you can see Russian street style star Olga Karput rocking this athleisure style…

Trend 3: Florals

Spring and florals are a match made in heaven! Below you see three different looks with a floral print.

Flowers ‘n ruffles

Brasilian fashion blogger Thassia Naves is wearing a style which you can easily make your own… a lovely flowerd skirt, a cute ruffled top and some A+ accessoires… I’m in!

Flowers 'n ruffles
Mules ‘n pleats
Still got a metallic pleated skirt from the festive season? Here’s how to style it in spring… add a casual floral sweater and some mules and you’re good to go!

Flowers ‘n corset
Nothing like a nice floral dress. In above picture you see a lovely dress with a pink fluffy coat. This look is spiced up with ankle boots and a corset belt.

Trend 4: Pink

In above styles you already see one of the fashion colours of the season… pink! And here’s one more… The Dutch blogger Sandra Kleine Staarman shows us how to go pink all the way and I absolutely adore the eighties feel of her outfit.

I have made these outfits with the fun and very addictive app ‘Polyvore’… check it out on polyvore.com 🙂

Kathleen x
