When in Utrecht last month my friend and I did some shopping. One of the mid-season sales I bought, was this cute, draped summer dress.

These days I am so aware of my legs and knees… I really don’t feel comfortable anymore showing too much skin! So when I buy new stuff, I will automatically buy longer dresses or pants. And when I saw this cute draped midi dress, I had to try it on!

This dress is actually a tight jersey dress which would look horendous on me if it wasn’t for the lovely flowy fabric draped on top. It makes it elegant in a flash and I really feel comfortable in it as it hides things I don’t want to show off 🙂

For this post I styled this dress with some accessories I wore at my sister’s wedding (see this post): my sparkly mini handbag, my rock-chick bracelet with studs and my Trussardi Jeans sandals which I truly adore.

But worn with other shoes and another bag, I will gladly wear this black dress to work!
