Beauty ‘n Fashion: Burgundy dress

Today another dress in the picture… and yet another golden oldie! It’s been ages since I’ve worn it as I just didn’t remember having it!! Let me tell you more about it…

I have bought this dress more than 7 years ago and I don’t think I have worn it 7 times during that time. But when I was clearing out my closet the other day, I found it lying at the back of the lowest shelf… I didn’t think it would still fit me, so it was a bit of a (pleasant!) surprise when it did so I washed it, ironed it and hey presto… it’s here on my blog!

I still remember the day buying this dress to be honest. I was out and about with my best friend Katrien, shopping at Maasmechelen outlet village… oh yes… it was a goooood day :-D.

I was looking for something to wear at my son’s confirmation and even though I didn’t wear this particular dress, it was just to nice not to buy it! I fell for the deep burgundy colour and the flowy fabric.

Even though this dress (from Nitya) is 7 years old, it feels like new to me (my husband actually thought it was a new one!). I am styling it with my beautiful red bracelet and earrings (also from my son’s confirmation now I come to think of it!), my burgundy pumps from Tamaris and my cute little handbag from Kisses of Pearls.

      1. Alles Ok hier, het zomert hier volop, maar ik hoor dat het bij jullie ook flink zomert dit jaar, verder volop aan het supporteren voor de Rode Duivels 🙂
