Today I put (yet!) another concealer to the test. I keep searching for the perfect one you know… so why don’t you read on to read my thoughts on this Dark Circle Concealer from Nyx!
I bought this concealer in the Nyx outlet village at Roermond. The reason why I bought this particular concealer was, that it’s said to work especially on blue/dark circles.
I don’t always use this concealer, only when absolutely necessary… like on below pictures taken the day after I partied until the wee hours of morning and woke up after 4 (!) hours of blissful sleep…
The promises
This is what I could read on the Nyx website:
‘A serious solution for one of beauty’s most challenging problems! No fance names just a product that can be counted on to do the job. Te product glides on without looking thick or obvious. The subtle hint of orange counteract the appearance of dark circles while natural skin-toned pigments work in unison to provide the ultimate coverage.’
Before:
After:
Pros
- Medium coverage of my dark circles
- Doesn’t sit in any creases.
- Economic in use.
- Lightweight formula.
- Hydrates because of the coconut oil it contains.
Cons
- There is no application brush included.
- I would have wanted more coverage…
Conclusion
Not convinced that this is really it… I was really hoping for more coverage… especially on days after partying hard 😛
Love, Kathleen
Shame it does not life quite up to the expectation. I have a great one from Dr. Pierre Ricaud but also a fan of the ones from Revolution. all give good coverage…
