I have bought nothing new to wear for the coming festivities as I’ve got plenty of party dresses hanging in my closet. Now I’m not sure yet what I’ll wear on Christmas day, but today I show you one of the possibilities.

During the summer sales, I have bought this fabulous, dusty pink slip dress which I have shown you before in a summer fashionpost.

But today I show you a warmer version on how to wear this slip dress: I simply add a sweater which makes this dress actually look like a long skirt! This silvery grey, finely knitted sweater complements the dusty pink from the dress perfectly. It’s an oldie from H&M. I like mixing more expensive items with cheaper ones… it’s all about balance isn’t it?!

The sweater also makes this outfit a bit warmer to wear during these cold days. And when things start heating up during the Christmas party, I can always lose that sweater 🙂

I am wearing my silver party heels from Tamaris. They are so comfortable, yet so stylish! They fit this outfit perfectly in my opinion.

Accessory-wise I am wearing a necklace and earrings which I have bought lots of years ago for my son’s first communion (way back in 2005 or 2006 that must have been… I’ve lost count!). They’re from Dyrberg Kern and they’re timeless!
