A day after my 50-day challenge I went shopping with my sister Cindy. We went to Antwerp, the capital of Belgian fashion! When in Antwerp, I like to take a look in the & Other Stories shop in the Korte Gasthuisstraat. They have beautiful, trendy clothes, good quality and at a great price. This time I immediately fell for a flamingo-printed dress I saw in the shop window. I tried it on and what do you know… perfect fit! Read more about this flamingo-printed dress!
Last Saturday I showed you the first fall outfit. You could see some fun photos of me in Diksmuide with my youngest daughter as photographer. I combined my army chic jacket with dark denim trousers and a black short-sleeved blouse with a ribbon tie.
In this post I show you three more styles with this jacket : with a long skirt, with beige and with denim. Which style do you prefer ? You can vote in the poll beneath the images !
When visiting Caen in Normandy in July (see the posts in tips ‘n trips about our Normandy trip : gardens, D-day, harbour towns), I bought this jacket in the summer sales at IKKS. I don’t know whether our D-day-trip had anything to do with it, but I fell for this military jacket with embellishments on the shoulders and lapel ! I was immediately drawn to this army chic style. Read more about this outfit!
Well hello there… what do you think of all these embellishments ? Like or disklike ? To make up your mind, why don’t you come back tomorrow for the entire outfit ?

I did some some research on what’s trendy for the next fall season. While I was on my 50-day challenge of not buying any clothes, accessories or shoes, I thought it would be really hard trying on all these new styles, but actually I was quite ok with it. I’ve been having fun trying on stuff, trying on things that I would normally not even lay my hands on. Seeing myself in outfits I would otherwise never try, has opened my eyes. I want to see more about these fitting room fits for fall!!
