At the beginning of spring I bought this rather eccentric coat at H&M. It’s not something I would usually buy as it’s quite special. You either love it or hate it. Some people don’t get this coat… especially men are not that wild of this coat (it might be the storks…) but frankly I couldn’t care less. The fact that it was at a 50% discount persuaded me to make the purchase though ! Read more about this outfit!
I bought these blue chino pants, that take the lead roll in this outfit, at H&M in April… or was it already May ? They were not expensive at all, but I think they look great ! They’re really comfortable. So perfect for a trip along the D-day beaches a couple of months ago (as you can see in this post). I wore my chino pants casually with my Marcel tanktop and my sneakers… oh… what good times we had in beautiful Normandy ! It seems so long ago already ! Wish we could go back… Read more about this outfit!
The LBD of the month is a dress I bought on holiday in the Provence a couple of years ago. We were staying in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, which I can highly recommend visiting, especially on market day ! I like buying clothes on holiday. It gives that little extra, don’t you think ?? Every time you put something on you bought on holiday, it takes you back… but anyway, back to the LBD ! The seventies are trending and as I was born in that era, I must have at least one item that embraces that style. So at the end of June I bought this überlong dress on sale at H&M. The length of the dress, the flowy fabric, the blue/brown colour scheme, the floral print… this all screams seventies style to me ! Read more about this outfit!
Today’s outfit consists of 2 basic items : a navy striped pencil skirt and a tank top.
The skirt I bought at H&M a few months ago. And as navy is always trending in summer, it is perfect for an outfit-of-the-week post ! Read more about this outfit!
Everytime we are in England we look for our favorite shop Reiss. They have such beautiful clothes, really good quality, beautiful fabrics and patterns… we just could buy the whole store !
We, that is my husband and I. It was my husband actually who discovered the shop first when we were on a citytrip in London a good couple of years ago. At home I have to break and arm and a leg to get him to the shops, but when on holiday or citytrip, he likes to do some shopping. Half of his cupboard is bought on travels and trips !
A few months ago we were in York and saw our favorite shop, Reiss, so along we went ! My husband bought this beautiful navy blue shirt with a tiny dot and I was hooked up on this fantastic midnight blue dress with a square cut-out pattern all over it. Read more about this outfit!
Today’s outfit is built around a dress that’s at least 6 or 7 years old ! I still love it, but as it is a halter dress, I don’t have many occasions to wear it. Plus I have been a jo-jo for I don’t know how many years (as you could read in this post) so during some summers the dress didn’t even come out of my closet !!
But I never could part with it and each summer with an OK weight, I’d wear it several times and I’d always get compliments about it. And now I’m on my target weight for the second summer in a row (yeah !), the dress has been worn again… and again with compliments with me on the receiving end (which is ever so nice !!)… Read more about this outfit!
