Today’s travelpost is about the little village El Castell de Guadalest, or in short Guadalest, which is situated about two hours south of Valencia.
It lies in the mountainous background of the Costa Blanca and it’s said to be one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
When we were on holiday in Spain, we stayed near Bocairent, a mountain village just outside the national park Sierra Mariola. Last week you could already read about the bed and breakfast we stayed in and today I will take you to Pou Clar and the town of Bocairent.

A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I had reason to celebrate big time as it was our 25th Wedding Anniversary. One weekend we celebrated with family and friends and the weekend after that, we celebrated once more, but this time just the two of us, during a weekend break to Versailles.

Last weekend, my husband and I went on a weekend break to Versailles. We visited the palace and grounds, did an evening walk in Versailles, had diner in a fabulous place and we visited the village where Vincent Van Gogh died… But in today’s post, I will concentrate on our visit to the Palace of Versailles.
