Last week we went to Normandy. We only went for 5 days which means we will have to go back one fine day as there are so many things to see and do in this part of France… cozy villages and harbor towns, beautiful gardens, grand chateaus, cities full of history and culture, D-day beaches, rugged coastline and so much more ! In the next few tips ‘n trips posts, you can read more about what we visited on our trip to La Douce France.
Today I will tell you a bit more about 2 gardens we visited : Giverny and Les Jardins du Pays d’Auge. Read more about the gardens we visited in Normandy!
Dieting is the only game where you win when you lose – Karl Lagerfeld
I’ve got a confession to make… I’m a jo-jo… I have been on and off a diet since my late teens and I really started ‘jo-joing’ (does that word even exist??) after having my first child, 19 years ago. Now I don’t want to put the blame on my children !!! No, it was always my own stupid fault… I always managed to lose the kilos, quite easily actually… but after a few months they would always come back and bring a few “friends” if you know what I mean… Read more about this quote!
Concerning fragrances I am quite a loyal woman (as I already mentioned in this post). In all, I’ve got 6 favorite fragrances. Usually I’ve got a few bottles I’m using alternately… according to the mood I’m in ! I usually have empty bottles of the fragrances I am not using at the time. I have the habit of sniffing these empty bottles quite regularly so when one of the bottles I’m using is nearly empty, I immediately know which one I want to replace it with !
So… six fragrances… As it is high summer I will start with two summer favorites : Parfum d’été by Kenzo and Fragonard by Fragonard. I use my other fragrances as well in summer, but these two I use most during summer months. Read more about my favorite summer fragrances!
On Lazy Sunday just a picture out of my collection !
Enjoy your Sunday…
Today’s outfit is built around a black midi skirt I bought at H&M. The fabric is quite thick and stiff which gives it a fifties look. I bought the skirt last summer, but I also wore it several times last autumn and winter. It’s really versatile, but then I like versatile stuff as I can style it according to the occasion and the mood I’m in. I would be bored wearing the same things together all the time so I like making up all sorts of combinations with my clothes. Read more about this outfit!
A bit of jeans and a bit of black… come back tomorrow to see the entire outfit of the week !
