I told you already about our holiday to the Côte d’Azur in the summer of 2014 in two posts about Monaco recently (here and here). Well, today’s post will take us back to that same holiday… but this time I will tell you about a trip we did to Ile Sainte-Marguerite, a little island off the coast of Cannes. Take me to the Ile Sainte-Marguerite!
Last week you could read part I of our daytrip to Monaco. We visited this city-state in July 2014 and I really wanted to share with you what we managed to see and do in just 12 hours.
In this post you could read about our visit to the Jardin Exotique and the museum of Prince Rainier III’s private collection of antique cars. I told you about the Palace and the Cathedral and today I’ll tell you a bit more about the harbour and our visit to Monte Carlo. Read more about our trip to Monaco!
In the summer of 2014 we went to the Côte d’Azur on a holiday. We did heaps of beautiful day trips and one of them was a trip to Monaco. As this state is so small, you can easily visit it for one day (of course if you’re lucky enough to spend more time over there please do!!). Today and next week I will give you some tips on what to see and do in this city-state. Read more about Monaco!

Last week’s Normandy post was all about gardens and nature. But Normandy is so much more than that. To many, Normandy equals D-day… so when in Normandy, make sure to find some time to spend on Word War II sites !
Mind, you can easily fill a week going from one museum to another monument, from one cemetery to another landing beach… As we didn’t have much time, I just picked three D-day-things to do : Arromanches, the German battery at Longues-sur-Mer and the American cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer. Read more about our D-day trip in Normandy!
