Today, in ‘Exploring my neighbourhood’, I tell you a bit more about Hynsteblom, from flower arranger Jean Van de Voorde. I went to the open house which took place at the beginning of the month ànd I rolled up my sleeves during one of the workshops Hynsteblom offers.

What/Wat?

Hynsteblom offers workshops flower arranging. For those who are not that creative: you can always order your flower arrangements 🙂 They also arrange flowers for parties and weddings.

Who/Wie?

Jean Van de Voorde is the man behind Hynsteblom. He’s accompanied by his wife Nancy, who’s as creative as he is. Both have a job besides Hynsteblom, but Hynsteblom is their passion in which they are putting a lot of their spare time!

Where/Waar?

Most workshops are held in Melsele, at the place of Jean’s sister. The pictures you see in this blogpost are taken during the open house at the beginning of December which also took place in her house.

There are also workshops in the house of Jean and Nancy in Meerdonk.

These look like really great workshops. I’ve always been interested in flower arranging but never really known how to get into it. The wreath you made is super pretty!

I realy like those kind of workshops, I did quite a few some years back when I had who organized them on regular basis. Unfortunately she got ill and could not do them anymore but we still talk about them and the ‘projects’ we did.
