In today’s outfit, a black ‘n gold combination! Perfect for any occasion… like visiting Hortus Haren near Groningen for instance!

Last weekend my husband and I were on a weekend break in Groningen, in the north of Holland. And of course, a weekend break isn’t complete without some shopping! This time I bought these fab wide black pants, which I found at Vero Moda.

Of course I wanted to wear them immediately, so on the second day of our weekend break I wore them on a trip to Hortus Haren of which you may expect a travelpost later on.

When I laid eyes on these pants, I just knew they would suit me, as I have blue pants which have a similar cut (you can see them in this post). These black ones are actually from the fall collection and have a slightly thicker fabric. I love the higher waist and the belt.

For this outfitpost I combine the pants with a gold top from Esprit. Black and gold is always a winner don’t you think so! The top is slightly shimmery, which gives a really nice effect in the sunlight.

I am wearing black wedge sandals from Remonte. I bought them a couple of weeks ago at the end of the summer sales and I have worn them on repeat as they are so comfortable! For this weekend break, which involved a lot of strolling around, they were a true companion 🙂 I am however sure that these pants will look ab fab with my Trussardi Jeans stilettos I bought for my sister’s wedding (see here) and I will do another fashionpost with these pants later in the year.

I know I will wear my new pants a lot. They will take me from summer into fall and winter and I will definitely make heaps of combinations with them!
