Beauty ‘n Fashion: L’Oréal Paris – Revitalift Laser Nightcream/Mask

DSC_5069

I’ve been using quite a lot of L’Oréal Paris products lately… and this is the newest addition to my collection… the Revitalift Laser Nightcream/Mask!

I used to buy my day- and nightcreams, my serums, lotions and potions at the beauty store but as the years passed and my household became more expensive, I just couldn’t justify me buying a cream for 50-60 EUR a jar anymore.

I also noticed that a lot of products I liked became more expensive every single time I bought them. The serum I used for instance was at first about 50 EUR, but after a couple of years it had nearly doubled in price!! I seriously doubt that it had doubled in effectiveness as well…

I do occassionaly buy a cream in the beauty store, but a couple of years ago I started buying most of my skincare products in the drugstore. The range at the drugstore has become more extensive than a decade ago. Brands like L’Oréal, Nivea, Olaz, Diadermine have now such a large selection of high quality products that they, in my honest opinion, can compete with beautystore brands.

The L’Oréal Paris Revitalift products for instance, are all of very good quality. There is a range for every type of skin. Dry, oily, young, middle-aged, older,… The packaging is also well taken care of and these products even make me forget my beautystore creams!

A couple of months ago I bought the Revitalift Laser Peeling Lotion of which I am really satisfied. This lotion is a complete skincare, so for a while, I only used that lotion and an eyecream at night. But I missed the feeling of a cream on my face before going to bed… so that’s why I bought this Revitalift Laser Nightcream/mask.

A couple of hours before going to bed, I cleanse my face and apply my peeling lotion. Then, just before I go to sleep, I also apply my eyecream and this nightcream to have a complete skincare. I also apply it on my neck and cleavage as those are also parts of the body that can do with a bit of hydration and care…

Here’s what I think of this cream/mask…

Pros

  • perfect hydration for my skin
  • subtle smell
  • my skin feels firm after applying this cream
  • using products from the same range, means they perfectly complement eachother
  • rich texture which doesn’t feel heavy on the skin though
  • beautiful and solid packing
  • value for money!

Cons

  • none that I can think of

Conclusion

I’m a fan… If you’ve got slightly older skin, this is a fab product to use!
