In today’s fashionpost I show you my new trousers I bought recently at H&M, my wide twill trousers. Let me tell you a bit more about them!

When I saw these trousers on an add, I immediately fell for them. I love the colour, but also the fact that they’re wide which is a pleasant change from those skinnies we’ve been wearing the last couple of years! With the belt, I can still accentuate my waist to show off the best feature of my body!

The pants are really comfy because they’re so wide. They’re actually perfect to wear in spring and summer as they are in this twill fabric, which is much more comfortable and less warm to wear than jeans. Mind, I do like my denims, but I will definitely wear these trousers a lot the coming months!

My legs never were the best part of my body and getting older doesn’t help, believe me 😦 In winter that is not so much of a problem as I can wear tights, but in spring and summer it’s a bit more difficult. I feel much more comfortable hiding my legs a bit, so these trousers are just perfect!

The pants have got a bit of a safari feel to them, especially combined with this crisp white shirt. As I am quite short, wearing heels underneath them looks prettier than sneakers. I think these sturdy ankle boots are perfect!

I’ve kept the accessories really simple: minimalistic earrings from Other Stories, and a delicate necklace I got from a giveaway from a fellow Belgian blogger, Eva (check out her blog here!). With a fab red lip I add a bit of colour to this otherwise muted coloured outfit.
