Beauty ‘n Fashion: Kiehl’s – Midnight Recovery Concentrate

Last week you could hear me rave about the Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil… If you’ve missed that post, you can find it here!

Today you can read about a second product I bought at Kiehl’s a couple of months ago. I have tried and teste the Midnight Recovery Concentrate and today you can read my thoughts…

The promises

This is what I could read on the Kiehl’s website:

“Like thousands of fellow patrons, use a few drops of Kiehl’s UK & Ireland #1 best-seller, Midnight Recovery Concentrate, every night for younger-looking skin by morning. Wake up to fresher-feeling skin, which is more toned, and with improved radiance. This formula works by enhancing your skin’s natural night-time recovery process – so make your skin work for you while you sleep! Additionally the formula is not only paraben-free, but also 99.8% natural-derived. A few of the key ingredients include Lavender Essential Oil, Primrose Oil, and Kiehl’s-signature ingredient squalane, derived from olives. And that’s not all – it’s made from a recyclable glass bottle, dropper and plastic squeeze top in a protective 100% recycled board carton.”

How to use

I use 5 drops of concentrate on a clean skin. I massage them in really well and leave it for a couple of minutes before applying a nightcream.

  • This serum leaves my skin supple and elastic.
  • Extremely hydrating effect.
  • Ever since using the cleanser-concentrate combination, my skin looks fresher and younger!
  • Lovely, subtle smell.
  • Economic in use.
  • Handy and hygienic bottle.
  • Beautiful packaging.

  • The price is quite steep, but compared to serums from luxury cosmetic brands it’s definitely OK!

I love using this serum at night! It certainly lives up to its promises…

Love, Kathleen
