Today on my blog a very cheerful and very colourful outfit! My first spring-outfit even though it’s officially still winter of course… but let’s ignore that fact for a little while and let me talk you through this stunning outfit…
On the daytrip to Delft (of which you could read a blogpost last Thursday), we didn’t just do cultural and gastronomic stuff, but we also did some shopping of course!
The multi-brandstore No13 had already stocked up on lots of colourful and trendy spring fashion so we browsed this fabulous shop. It didn’t take me long to grab some outfits out of the racks and head to the fitting room.
When I had picked out these trousers, I hesitated a bit and I even put them back as I thought I would be too small as these are very wide. But I’m glad I pulled out of the racks again, because as soon as I put them on, it was decided… I would buy them!
Now to find a matching top… The trousers were styled with a very beautiful lilac blouse, but I looked too boxy in the blouse, so onto something else. My friend brought me this fantastic, fuchsia blouse and it goes so perfectly well with the trousers I think! The blouse screams eighties, but in a 2019 way.
I am wearing my Dansk Smykkekunst necklace with it, a cute little handbag and leopard printed heels. I have bought platform sneakers which work so well with these trousers, but I have to let the hem of the trousers taken in slightly to be able to wear them with the sneakers.
Later in the season, I will definitely do another fashionpost with these trousers, but then styled with my sneakers and a more casual top. Yip… plenty of ways to style these cool pants!
Love, Kathleen
