For Christmas Eve, I want to share with you a budget party dress, fit for a family dinner, but also for the work parties and receptions that coming our way these days.

This dress is from the Richard Allen collection for H&M and I love the style of it. It goes perfectly well with my hourglass figure, but  I’m sure it will look good on many body types.

The print is kind of special. I tried on a fitted sweater from that same collection and in the same print, but that wasn’t flattering at all, but in this dress it works really well.

This dress is perfect to go from work to party. To work you can wear it with a cardigan and simple jewellery, a nude lip and black knee high boots.

But when you’ve got a party to attend to right after work, which obviously happens this time of year, ditch the cardigan, swap the boots for some black heels, wear some fancy jewellery, a cute clutch and a bold red lipstick and you’re ready to go!

For this outfit I style the dress with a cute black handbag, my black pumps from Gabor and stunning silver earrings which sadly  you don’t see very well in thse pictures (and we forgot to take a detailed picture)… oh well… believe me… they really are stunning 😀 I got them from my kids for my birthday and they were bought at Gaudi’s Casa Mila in Barcelona which make them even a bit more special!

Well I hope you like this outfit, I know I do 😀

Merry Christmas and see you next time with more fashion.

Love, Kathleen
