Antwerp has so much to offer… shopping, parks, restaurants, art galleries, the historic city center and… museums!
The coming weeks I will do three travelposts about Antwerp museums. Today I will take you to the neighbourhood ‘Eilandje’ to visit the MAS and the Red Star Line Museum…
Last week I went to Bruges with my youngest daughter Elizabeth. Besides strolling around this beautiful medieval city and eating the best pizza ever (of which I will tell you more next week) we also visited the Picasso and Miró exposition in the Xpo Center Bruges.

My kids are die hard Harry Potter fans. They were brought up with the books and films and they’ve got quite a lot of Harry Potter related things. We visited the Leavesden Studios several years ago so when they heard about this Harry Potter expo, they really wanted to go! Read more about this expo!

I already did several posts on Antwerp and believe me… there will be some more in the future! Antwerp is very close to my hometown so we visit it very often. We usually go there to have a stroll through the old part of town, to have a drink at the Dageraadplaats, to visit the trendy Zuid or to go to the Eilandje and its surroundings.
