During our 5-day holiday break, we made a stop in Shaftesbury, Dorset. Now this is such a lovely and charming village… Just check out the pictures in this post and you’ll want to see for yourself, I’m sure 🙂
When on a holiday or daytrip, I like to visit a castle. I enjoy wandering around the large, sumptuous rooms and corridors, admiring the antiques and art, strolling around the gardens and parkland around it,…
So when we were in Dorset in July we visited 3 castles: Corfe Castle (we only saw that from the outside as you could see in this post), Highclere Castle (yes… Downton Abbey!!!) of which you can read a post next week and Sherborne Castle.
After our rural walk in and around Sturminster Newton (see last weeks post), we went to Blandford Forum. Read on to find out more about what makes this little town so special!
In July we went on a short holiday to England of which I have already written several posts. I still owe you lots of beautiful pics, so let’s continue on our trip…
During our holiday in England, we spent one day at the Dorset coast. I already wrote two travelpost about that day (one about Swanage and one about the Jurassic Coast) and today you can read the last one of this sunny day… and it’s all about picturesque Corfe Castle! Read the rest of this entry »

Today I will tell you a bit more about Swanage, the little coastal town were we took the boat to Poole.
Today’s travelpost is about the Jurassic Coast in Dorset. We visited this stunning piece of nature on a hot and lovely summer day in July and I loved every single minute of it…
