I pampered myself with a very beautiful white linen summer dress… My husband and I went to the seaside resort Knokke a couple of weeks ago. As it is only a one hour’s drive, we go there regularly to get that so needed fresh sea air.  We are no beach-goers…  we go to Knokke to wine and dine in one of the many brasseries and restaurants, to pop into one of the many galleries and to stroll around the shopping streets.

This time I stepped into East, a shop at the Lippenslaan. Skimming through the clothes racks, I was immediately drawn to this beautiful summer dress in white linen, covered in sparkly bronze coloured flowers.

The dress has trumpet sleeves, a deep sexy V-neck and a beautiful back. It is from the Italian brand 120 lino. As it is a dress from last season, it was on sale (ha !) so I decided to try it on. It fitted perfectly ! I didn’t even need to throw puppy eyes at my husband, as he thought I looked quite sexy in it… so… sold !

The dress will be perfect for several summer occasions : a garden party, a family barbecue, strolling around Antwerp on a beautiful summer evening, wandering around Knokke on a sunny summer’s day… High heels, wedges, flipflops,… it can be themed with different kinds of shoes to adjust the style to the occasion. On colder evenings, I can wear the dress with a pashmina or my denim jacket… so… let the summer begin !
