A couple of weeks ago, I went on a daytrip with my best friend Katrien. She had organised the day as it was a belated surprise for my birthday, so I didn’t have a clue where we would go.
We were heading towards the North of France and during the car ride I was guessing where we would go… but I could never have guessed our destination as I had never ever heard of it before: Villa Cavrois in Croix, near Roubaix.
Last week you could find out which are my current favourite beauty items concerning cleansing, serum, day/night cream, eye care and bodylotion (see this post).
Time for part II I’d say!
I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I’ve got some ab fab posts in store for you this coming week, let me tell you all about them…
On Monday I’ve got the second part of my current favourite beauty products. On Tuesday I take you to my neighbourhood once again. This time we’ll visit the shop of a friend of mine: “De Wael lingerie and nightwear”.
Thursday we travel to Croix in the north of France, where I visited a fabulous modernist villa. And Saturday’s outfitpost is still in the making so a bit more patience for that one 🙂
And now I’m off if you don’t mind… off enjoying a lovely Sunday lunch with friends and family… what more can you wish for?!
When on a holiday or daytrip, I like to visit a castle. I enjoy wandering around the large, sumptuous rooms and corridors, admiring the antiques and art, strolling around the gardens and parkland around it,…
So when we were in Dorset in July we visited 3 castles: Corfe Castle (we only saw that from the outside as you could see in this post), Highclere Castle (yes… Downton Abbey!!!) of which you can read a post next week and Sherborne Castle.
Every week I write a beauty review and often that review is based on me using the product for a couple of weeks. But would I keep on using it? Was the product thàt good that I would buy it again?
In today’s beauty rewind I take you back to the products I reviewed the last couple of months and I tell you whether I still have the same opinion about it…
I have been using MUA, Catrice and Essence eyeshadow palettes for the last couple of years and I am actually quite satisfied with them. They are cheap, come in various colour combinations and I didn’t have to feel guilty buying a new palette when the others aren’t finished yet.
But a couple of months ago I levelled up… I bought this Urban Decay palette (Naked 2) and I really wanted to know… is it worth the fuss?! Read on to find out!
Today you can read my thoughts on yet another L’Oréal Paris product. You’d think I’ve got some shares in that company as I buy a lot of their products… But no, I’m just a fan and in today’s review you can read once more why!
