At the end of September my husband and I went on a weekend break to Holland. I told you what I had packed in my beautycase for this getaway and that included the product I will review today : Biotherm Aquasource Gel. 

I normally use two different products for my face : a morning cream and a night cream. But as this product can be used mornings as well as nights, it was ever so handy to only pack one cream on our weekend break. This past month, I have been using this product but only in the mornings.

Now I thought this product would not be able to deal with a 40+ skin to be honest. It looks so light and I thought that my skin would need more than just this hydrating gel. But I have been using this product for about a month now and I am pleasantly surprised by it!

First of all the smell… it smells absolutely fresh and it may sound silly, but in the mornings it’s actually a bit of a wake up call for my face! I love to rub it all over my face and spread it out onto my neck. It actually is a delightful product to use in the morning.

But the best part is the way my skin soaks up this product. It makes it feel ever so soft and hydrated and it is the perfect base for the rest of my make up. 

At night, my skin still feels hydrated, so that goes to show how deeply hydrating this gel is.

I first thought this gel would be more appropiate for younger skins, but I must admit I was wrong there. This really is a product that can be used at any age on any kind of skin, even the most sensitive ones. I can definitely recommend this gel. Have you ever used this Biotherm Aquasource Gel before ?
