When it’s hot, I like wearing this long soft-green dress. It’s casual and light, so on the third day of our recent weekend break to Holland, I chose to wear this dress. This dress is from the Dutch brand G-star and it is already several years old. I bought it a couple of years ago during another weekend break in Holland (when we went to The Hague). I don’t mind how old some of my stuff are… if I still like it, I still wear it!
I like the soft green colour of the dress and the fact that the fabric of the bottom part differs from the top, which makes it look more like a skirt and top. It’s a good dress to do some tanning whilst strolling down a city or sipping a glass of wine at an outdoor terrace.
I decided to wear my sequined Fitflops underneath the dress. It adds to the casualness of the dress and they are extremely comfortable… I could literally wear them all day every day!
As I am going to a music festival in July, I will certainly keep this outfit in mind… well… when the weather behaves that is!
These photos were taken in the botanical garden of Utrecht. In a couple of weeks time there will be a travel post about this garden. Keep a close eye at “the good, the fab and the lovely” so you don’t miss it!
Love, Kathleen
Here you see another green dress… which is slightly less casual!
