A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure to go to Paris with my youngest daughter Elizabeth. I have written two travelposts about how we spent our day. In the second post I told you I did some serious beauty shopping whilst in Paris and I promised you a shoplog… Well guess what? Here it is 🙂
Who doesn’t like to buy things when on a daytrip or on a holiday?? I know I do… so when I went to Paris at the end of December, I had my mind set on some beauty products. Let me tell you what I bought and where!
Fragonard

Ever since buying the Fragonard perfume in Grasse (read this post about it!) in 2014, I am a huge fan of this French perfumery. We visited the factory in Grasse and ended up in the shop of course, buying perfume for the entire family!
Fragonard can be bought online, but (as far as I know) they only have shops in France. So whenever we’ve run out of perfume and I go to Paris, I bring home with me some lovely scents.
Eau de parfum – ‘Belle Chérie’
This time it was my daughter’s perfume that was nearly finished. She only has a small bottle of 30 ml as she only uses her Fragonard perfume on special occasions (her first bottle lasted 3 years…). She uses the ‘Belle Chérie’… and as she is my belle chérie, I treated her to a new bottle 🙂
Vrai – Radiant Serum
For myself, I bought a serum from the ‘Vrai’ range. It’s a serum that can be used day and night, made with natural ingredients and it should firm and re-structure the skin, leaving a radiant complexion… sounds too good not to try out!
Sephora
This was my first visit to a Sephora. I know… this must sound incredibly unbelievable… but the reason is quite simple: we don’t have this store in Belgium. So when I entered the shop I was overwhelmed by the extensive offer.
Nuxe -Ultra-nourishing lip balm
I have bought the moisturizing stick recently to use by day, but now I bought this jar of lip balm to use at night. Both will be reviewed!
Dr.Jart+ – Clearing Solution Mask
This is a microfiber sheet mask that controls blemishes and corrects uneven skintone. Because of the super silky texture, the mask clings to the skin which absorbs all the active ingredients.
Dr.Jart+ – Wrinkless Solution Mask
This is a body heat thermosensitive cellulose gel mask that reduces the appearance of wrinkles and improves skin texture.
I have already tried this out and will do a review soon.
Sephora – Lavender Foot Mask
In this pocket are two socks soaked in active ingredients to nourish and relax the feet. As I have neglected my feet over the past couple of months, I really wanted to buy this to pamper my feet…will let you know my thoughts once I tried it out!
Sephora – Orchid Eye Mask
This is a natural fiber mask which should reduce the appearance of wrinkles and signs of aging for firmer looking skin and a more even contour. How could I not want this?!
Sephora – Pomegranate Eye Mask
This is a natural fiber mask which should reduce signs of fatigue and tone the eye contour for a rested, energetic look.
Sephora – Red Clay Mask
This is a mask made with natural clay which energizes and fights fatigue.
The local pharmacy
Bioderma – Créaline H2O Micellar Water
Now apparently this should be the best micellar water on the planet… I have bought it, I will test it out and I will fill you in in due time!
Caudalie – Vine Activ 3-in-1 Moisturizer
I had read about Caudalie, a French beauty brand which is sold in pharmacies. I know they sell it here in Belgium too… but when bought in Paris it makes it just that bit more special, doesn’t it?! I thought it would be a tad cheaper, but the price was the same.
I have bought two products in the Vine Active collection: this 3-in-1 moisturizer, which I will be using in the morning. It’s said to be anti-wrinkle, anti-pollution, glow-activating and non-comedogenic… let’s find out soon!
Caudalie – Vine Active Overnight Detox Oil
The second product from Caudalie is this Vine Active Overnight Detox Oil which should regenerate, detoxify and smooth out lines… we’ll see 😉
Now of course I will test out all of these products so stay tuned for lots and lots of reviews!!
Love, Kathleen
Fragonard was de moeite om te bezoeken hé? Wij deden dat ook al eens.
En Sephora… al zo vaak voorbij gegaan, maar ook nog nooit binnen geweest…

The nuxe lipbalm is too die for, love that one. Also Caudalie is always a pleasure for the skin. I have use this one as well and really liked it. Curious about the serum I am sure we will see a review at some point?

That lipbalm is indeed VERY good!!!! I have just started using the Caudalie products and the serum. I’ll write a review, but I’ve got so many reviews still to make!!! It’ll take a while until they’re online 🙂
