When I was in Roermond at the end of June, I bought a couple of dresses at Lauren by Ralph Lauren, including this cute polkadot dress.

Now I don’t often wear or buy black anymore, but this dress won me over because of the polkadots!

It’s a dress my husband indicated to me and I must say he gets full marks on finding this dress for me! The cut is very flattering: the top is fitted and the skirt flares down just below my knees. The way the dress is folded in the tummy area, helps to hide the fact that I’ve been loving my icecreams a bit too much these past months…

On the last day of the sales I bought these fabulous red slingback pumps. I’ve got broad feet which usually look even broader in pumps, but as these are V-shaped at the top, they make my feet look much narrower.

I kept this outfit classic and elegant, wearing my black Ralph Lauren sunglasses and my classic earrings I bought at Buckingham Palace last year. To finish off the look, I carry my red Coccinelle handbag and a bold red lip.

I feel elegant and glamorous in this outfit I must say 🙂
