Instead of the usual fashionpost on Saturday, I will post something different this time… a post about ‘the book lovers tag’!
Recently I was invited by the lovely Steph from Canada to take part in this tag. Steph has a fun blog ‘Scale it simple‘. You should check it out if you’re into books, quotes, travel and lifestyle! But now what about that ‘book lovers tag’…
Last week you could read about my mixed feelings about ‘The life-changing magic of tidying up’ and this week I will tell you a bit more about the third book we read with our book club: ‘Afterwards’ from Rosamund Lupton.
I looked forward to reading this book as the summary really appealed to me… so read on the see what I thought about it!
OK, so I promised you a post about Antwerp museums, but that will have to wait for another week I suppose… because today I want to tell you about an outing I had last Saturday! I went to Utrecht for an entire day of lectures about Jane Austen…
Are you as much of a Jane Austen fan as I am? Read on I’d say 🙂
A couple of months ago, a colleague of mine came up with the idea of a book club. Soon we found some kindred spirits and a couple of weeks later we had our first meeting. In this post you could read all about the why’s and how’s of our book club.
Well… last Sunday we had our second gathering where we discussed the first book on our list: ‘Not without you’ by Alan and Irene Brogan. Below you can read all about our first real book club meeting! Read the rest of this entry »
A couple of months ago, a colleague of mine told me she wanted to start a book club. I immediately jumped to that idea and we started looking for people to join us. We quickly found 5 more booklovers and so it happened… that on a cold, grey, wet and windy January afternoon, the 7 of us came together for the kick off of our book club!
