A couple of weeks ago we were in Holland, where I bought this bright and sunny summer dress and of course I wanted to wear it immediately… well… it was the perfect weather for it anyway!
So here you see me flaunting around Utrecht, showing of my new dress! I bought it in Zeist, the town we stayed in during our weekend break and of which you can read a travel post here.
The dress is from the Dutch brand Claudia Sträter. As soon as I tried on this dress it was love at first sight… It really is a dress which is perfect for my body type. It’s got a fitted bodice, I can accenctuate my waist with the belt and the skirt is flowy which is perfect to hide my broader hips!
And I just looooove this colour, don’t you?! I only had this dress on for a couple of hours when I got my first compliment from a complete stranger… how nice and summery my dress was 🙂
As I was wearing this dress for a citytrip to Utrecht, I really wanted to wear comfortable shoes, so I opted for my Gabor wedge sandals. They are in need of replacement (I’ve already got a pair in mind!), but at the end of the day my feet were so thankful for this sensible choice!
It was really hot that day, but in the evening I put on my short denim jacket (which you can see in this post) and my golden scarf (which you can see here). I felt really comfortable in this outfit and I just know that I will wear this dress on many lovely summer days!

De kleur staat je prachtig! Ik ben laatst voor de eerste keer naar Utrecht geweest en vond het een fantastische stad!

Mooie kleur. Ik draag eigenlijk alleen in de zomer jurkjes. Dan vind ik het fijn zitten. Najaar/winter heb ik het altijd koud haha dus dan pak ik me het liefst warm in
