In today’s beautypost you can read a review on the Nuxe Crème Fraîche de Beauté.

A couple of months ago I ordered some Nuxe products online and this  tube of moisturizing cream was in the package as a free gift. I gladly tested it out!

The promises

This is what I could read on the Nuxe website(translated from Dutch):

‘This moisturising cream, with plant milk juices and algae extract, gives a 48 hour hydration. The cream soothes and protects against pollution. Skin is fresh, soft and plump all day long.’

How to use

You can use this hydrating cream in the morning and/or at night. I frequently used it on my eyes as well and that didn’t give any irritation.

Pros

  • Pleasant, soft smell.
  • Natural ingredients.
  • Soft, hydrating cream.
  • My skin feels fresh and resilient.
  • Can be used on all skins, also when you’ve got dry skin.
  • Lovely, creamy consistency.

Cons

  • This cream ‘only’ hydrates. With my aging skin, I want something a little extra.

Conclusion

Even though I liked using this cream, I don’t think I will buy it as it doesn’t give anything extra for my aging skin.

Love, Kathleen

This looks like a nice, gentle cream. I’m the same, I need anti-aging ingredients with my skincare!

I really liked it to be honest, but yip… I want a bit more than just the hydrating… if you’ve got recommendations, do tell!
