On this sneak peek lots of grey and wool… (and a nail that could do with a new manicure, I know…!!). Tomorrow you can see the entire outfit!
Last month my husband and I celebrated my 44th birthday in beautiful Bruges… It was one of our quality-time days (as prescribed by yours truly in this post!) so we dropped the kids off at school and headed to Bruges just the two of us (I felt a bit sorry for my youngest daughter as it was her birthday as well… I went off to Bruges having a fab time whilst she had to go to school…). There’s no such thing as a guilty pleasure – Douglas Wilson
If I’ve got to name just one of my guilty pleasures (of course I’ve got many more, but we’ll stick with one for now…), it must be watching the Australian soap Neighbours (I recently added this funny little detail to my ‘random things’ page!). This show has been running for 30 years now… Not long ago the 7000th episode was on television in my country (we’re a bit behind as in my country Neighbours is aired since 1988, whereas the serie started in 1985) and I do believe that I must have seen at least 6500 episodes of them. Concerning the cleansing products I use for my face, I am quite a loyal lady… I use just a couple of products. In the mornings, after my shower, I use the Vichy Pureté Thermale micellar lotion. I have been using this product ever since I won a bottle of this product in August. In the review I wrote a couple of months ago, you can read what my thougths are on this product.
And in the evening I use Estée Lauder Perfectly Clean multi-action cleansing gelée/refiner. Doing the review on this product, I noticed that there was a similar Estée Lauder product, but combined with a face mask instead of a refiner. So when I noticed that this cleanser was part of a promotion package at my beauty shop, I didn’t hesitate and I bought it. Read my thoughts on this product!
My new challenge starts today… on this 8th of November! It’s something that I have been struggling with for the past two months, but I can’t do it by myself… I need help and making it into a challenge, will certainly be an extra motivation for me! I already noticed with my first two challenges that blogging about it really makes me do more of an effort as I don’t want to loose face… Want to know more about this challenge? Read on!
I wish you all a very lazy Sunday… and a nice time on my blog with this recap of last week’s posts!
As I have posted 20 beauty posts, I chose to do a beauty rewind last Monday. Tuesday’s quote was one about the smell of books and on Wednesday you could see three styles with a grey sweater. On Thursday’s tips’ n trips I told you more about a party my sister and I went to : the 5th anniversary of the multi-brand high fashion store Renaissance.
As I was nominated for the ‘one lovely blog award’ twice (by Bapalaya ànd by Vivacious Lifestylin’) I posted 7 fun facts about me on Friday and the outfit of the week was all about my houndstooth top.
Later today there you should check my blog again as my new challenge will be posted!!
I hope you enjoyed my blog this past week… see you again very soon!
