A day after my 50-day challenge I went shopping with my sister Cindy. We went to Antwerp, the capital of Belgian fashion! When in Antwerp, I like to take a look in the & Other Stories shop in the Korte Gasthuisstraat. They have beautiful, trendy clothes, good quality and at a great price. This time I immediately fell for a flamingo-printed dress I saw in the shop window. I tried it on and what do you know… perfect fit! Read more about this flamingo-printed dress!
It’s been a while since I had my first challenge (you could read all about it here) so it’s time for a new one, don’t you think?!
For the month of October I set myself a physical challenge. I like jogging (as some of you who follow me on Instagram already may have noticed) but the past years I have discovered that the month of October is crucial… I tend to stop running and start my winter break extremely early… That is of course due to the changing of the weather and the shortening of the days. But to avoid that this year, I set myself a challenge… and to make it even harder I share this challenge on my blog! I took my first challenge to a good end, so why not this one ? Let me tell you all about it!
A couple of weeks ago my husband and I went on a weekend break to our beloved neighbouring country… Holland. We love the hospitality and friendliness of the Dutch so when choosing a destination for a weekend getaway, Holland nearly always wins!
Last Saturday I showed you the first fall outfit. You could see some fun photos of me in Diksmuide with my youngest daughter as photographer. I combined my army chic jacket with dark denim trousers and a black short-sleeved blouse with a ribbon tie.
In this post I show you three more styles with this jacket : with a long skirt, with beige and with denim. Which style do you prefer ? You can vote in the poll beneath the images !
What makes a marriage a happy one… now that calls for some debating, doesn’t it?! I have been married for more than 21 years now, so I think I’m becoming a bit of an expert on the topic if I may say so. Marriage of course is about giving and taking, sharing and caring, water and wine, keeping one eye open and the other one closed… but if there should be a secret to a happy marriage, I’d say that you have to make sure you regularly recharge your “couple-battery”… well, that has been the secret of our marriage so far… Let me tell you how we recharge our couple-battery!
I am always on the hunt for the perfect mascara… I am not gifted with the world’s longest eyelashes and thus I am always searching for a mascara that lengthens, separates and thickens my eyelashes and pumps up the volume as an extra bonus. As I don’t use false eyelashes, I seek refuge in a mascara that ticks most of the boxes. I know… sometimes I ask for the impossible !
