“Nothing is permanent in this world, not even our troubles” – Charlie Chaplin
We live in troublesome times, certainly after the recent events in Paris. People are worried, troubled and afraid. We don’t know how to explain to our kids what’s been going on as we hardly understand the whys and hows ourselves.
And we are so anxious right now… how can we live in a world filled with insecurities? And still we do… As Charlie Chaplin says… nothing is permanent in this world, not even our troubles… and so life continues…
The sun comes up in the morning and goes down at night. Also in Paris… people slowly resume their lives and businesses, they go back to work, kids go back to school, shops open again. Restaurants serve their clients again, football matches are played and people sing to the tunes of their favorite rock stars again…
People are strong and they bounce back… everytime… always…
Sometimes it takes a bit longer and after last week’s tragedy, I’m sure it will take a lot of time for a lot of people to take up their lives again. But they will in the end…
And that’s the signal we must keep on giving… we are all scarred… our souls are hurt… but we are all strong and we will not be beaten…

…yes you are right, no matter how tough it gets Life’s wheel keeps churning so you either have to buckle up or get left behind, sometimes its a good incentive to move on but when you’re grieving its hard…I also like the saying ‘This too shall pass…’…
