Today’s outfitpost is about this fabulous and beautiful dress I fell in love with from the moment I laid eyes on it… Last month I was in Antwerp with my two sisters. One of my sisters had to pick up a dress at Max Mara, which had been altered. So while she was trying on her dress once again to see if the alterations were as required, I was browsing this beautiful store on the Huidevetterstraat in Antwerp.
Now I will be honest… I adore this brand… but unfortuntately most of the stuff is just on the wrong side of my budget… But you just have to browse the store… sometimes you find a treasure which is a bit more budget-friendly… like this beautiful grey dress with a floral print I fell in love with immediately 😀
I tried it on and I must say that I really liked what I saw in the mirror 🙂 My sisters and the shop assistant were actually as overjoyed as I was, so I knew it was just absolutely fabulous!
The dress, which is from Sportmax, is a tad short, but worn with tights, it’s perfect in my opinion! And the shop assistant gave me the advise that if I should want to, I could always let the hem out… The shop assistant by the way was ever so friendly and gave very good and honest advise. She really knows her stuff! But I didn’t need a lot of persuasion I must admit 🙂
The fabric of the dress is of really good quality. It’s quite a stiff fabric and because of the length it is very playful.
For this outfitpost I’m wearing my new ab fab dress with black tights from Wolford (a bit more expensive but definitely worth the investment!), my silver-grey party shoes from Tamaris and my suede blue clutch. Did you know I bought this clutch at Chatsworth House in England? Typically me… visiting a grand estate and gardens and ending up buying a clutch at the gift shop 😀 !
The silver and pearl earrings I bought at Buckingham palace a couple of summers ago and the lovely pearl bracelet I am wearing was a gift at the Mylène event I went to at the beginning of August. It is such a beautiful, classic bracelet… perfect to complete this outfit!
What do you think of this outfit? Do you like the dress?
