Vandaag start ik met een nieuwe rubriek op mijn blog: ‘Exploring my neighbourhood’. De titel van deze nieuwe rubriek spreekt voor zich… ik neem je mee naar allerlei leuke plaatsen, brasseries, boetieks,… in de buurt van mijn woonplaats Beveren in Vlaanderen, België.

Om deze nieuwe rubriek in stijl te starten, gaan we naar dé fashion hotspot in Beveren… Twist&Mix by Annick Goedhuys!

I have decided to start this new column on my blog: ‘Exploring my neighbourhood’. The title says it all really… I will be taking you to all these lovely places, brasseries, boutiques,… in and around my hometown Beveren in Flanders, Belgium.

To start off this new column, we’re going to thé fashion hotspot in Beveren… Twist&Mix by Annick Goedhuys!

 

I write all my blogposts in English. But as the posts in this new column are specifically about my neighbourhood, I think it is quite obvious I will write them in English as well as in Dutch. I will put the English text in black, to make it easy to read this post!

Al mijn blogposts zijn in het Engels geschreven. Omdat deze nieuwe column specifiek over mijn buurt gaat, vind ik het nogal logisch om deze posts zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels te schrijven! De Nederlandse tekst zal ik telkens in het blauw drukken, zodat je gemakkelijk door de tekst heen leest.

What/Wat?

Twist&Mix by Annick Goedhuys is a conceptstore selling shoes, fashion, handbags, but also jewellery, books, candles, scarves, gifts,… It is a multibrand shop attracting all fashionistas of the region. It really is a fabulous place with classy collections!

Annick recently opened a second shop nearby: Twist&Mix Warande, also in Beveren. Here you can find the ‘sassy’ items, but more on this shop next time in ‘exploring my neighbourhood’!

Twist&Mix by Annick Goedhuys is een conceptstore waar je terecht kan voor kwaliteitsschoenen en -handtassen, de nieuwste mode, juwelen, boeken, kaarsen, sjaals, geschenken,… Het is een winkel waar je heel wat verschillende merken terug vindt en die alle fashionista’s aanspreekt! Het is echt een fantastische zaak met ‘classy’ collecties!

Annick heeft onlangs een tweede winkel geopend: Twist&Mix Warande, die je ook in Beveren kan terug vinden. Hier is de collectie iets speelser. Meer over Twist&Mix Warande een volgende keer in ‘op ontdekkingstocht in mijn buurt’!

Who/Wie?

 

Annick Goedhuys is the woman behind Twist&Mix. Ten years ago she started a shoe shop at this location, but a couple of years ago she decided to expand her offer and started selling fashion, accessories and gifts as well.

Annick is a passionate and honest woman who has a lot of experience in fashion!

Annick Goedhuys is de vrouw achter Twist&Mix. Tien jaar geleden startte ze een schoenenwinkel op deze locatie, maar enkele jaren geleden besliste ze om haar aanbod uit te breiden en ook kledij, accessoires en cadeau’s te verkopen.

Annick is een gepassioneerde, eerlijke vrouw met tonnen ervaring in de mode!

The boutique/conceptstore can be found in a period building in the shopping street of Beveren-Waas. It is divided into several rooms with high ceilings and doors, which makes your shopping spree a little more luxurious!

Deze boetiek/conceptstore kan je vinden in een prachtig herenhuis in de winkelstraat van Beveren-Waas. De winkel is onderverdeeld in verschillende kamers met hoge plafonds en deuren, wat het winkelen net dat tikkeltje luxueuzer maakt!

Opening times/Openingsuren?

Tuesday-Saturday from 10 am-6pm. You can also make an appointment to have a shopping night out with some girlfriends!

Dinsdag-zaterdag van 10u-18u. Je kan ook altijd een afspraak maken voor een avondje shoppen met vriendinnen!
