Cleansing your face is probably the most important part of skincare. So every morning and every night it is part of my skincare routine.

In the evenings I normally use Estée Lauder Perfectly Clean (you can read my thoughts on this top product here), but sometimes I just am too lazy to do this cleansing/foaming/rinsing thing and I opt for a quicker solution… micellar water! Also in the mornings, after my shower, I use a  micellar water.

Some time ago I finished my Corine de Farme micellar water (read about it here) so it was time for a replacement… and I found that in this Garnier SkinActive micellar water. The fact that this micellar water can also remove waterproof make-up convinced me to buy it.

This oil-infused micellar water is perfect for my skin. You’ve got to shake the bottle so the oil and water mix. The product doesn’t feel greasy at all. No, it leaves my skin feeling clean and nourished. As it is oil-infused, it doesn’t feel as fresh as another micellar water, but the fact that my skin feels really soft after using it, makes it a very pleasant product!

Another plus is that this micellar water has a very soft and subtle smell. The bottle is quite large. There is 500 ml of product in it which is very good of course, but it’s too large to take on a holiday or weekend break.

Pros : 

• removes waterproof make-up
• lovely smell
• makes your skin feeling soft and nourished
• the price (6,99 EUR for 500 ml)

Cons : 

• quite a large bottle, so less appropriate to take on a holiday
• if you really want a fresh feel on your skin, you might prefer another micellar water

Conclusion :

I definitely would recommend buying this micellar water, especially when you’ve got dry or sensitive skin. This is a very good product at a friendly price!
