A couple of months ago I went to Utrecht with my best friend Katrien. I have bought several things that day,things that I have worn on repeat this summer. But for one thing it was just too warm during the summer months… my soft pink vest!

Now September is bringing some chillier mornings and evenings, I am glad to take out this vest more often. It reminds me of a fun day with my friend and it is nice, soft and warm to be wearing now!

Let’s talk about the colour first… this soft pink is really a flattering shade, don’t you think so?! This colour can be combined with heaps of other colours: denim (dark and light), grey, white, blue, black, olive,…

Than the fabric… it is so soft and warm… a cosy vest to be layering on top of other clothes… perfect for fall! I also like the pattern, which makes this vest just that bit different.

And finally the cut. I love how it is oversized, but not too much as that makes me look too chunky. The trick is in the sleeves… they are narrow, which is more flattering for my body type and they are 3/4 length sleeves, which means that my wrists, the slimmest part of the arm, are shown, which also gives a slimmer look.

So three cheers for this soft pink vest!!

I just now I will be wearing this vest a lot the coming months. For this outfitpost, I am wearing this vest with my distressed denim, a white top and an infinity scarf, but I will be able to combine it with so many other things out of my wardrobe!
