Fashion: LBD – Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

DSC_0789

The LBD of the month is a dress I bought on holiday in the Provence a couple of years ago. We were staying in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, which I can highly recommend visiting, especially on market day ! I like buying clothes on holiday. It gives that little extra, don’t you think ?? Every time you put something on you bought on holiday, it takes you back… but anyway, back to the LBD !

This dress is an ideal summer dress as the fabric is really light and airy. It has a deep V-neck so you can still work on your tan whilst wearing it. I have worn this dress on several occasions : to go to work, but also on a daytrip to England and I have even worn it going to a summer wedding.

Overall I keep the accessories really simple. I usually put on my red rose earrings and bracelet when wearing this dress (seen in this post), but this time I chose my silver/black necklace and matching earrings. I’m wearing my Natan heels for this shoot, but I have also worn my flat Michael Kors sandals (seen here) or my Gabor heels (seen here) with this dress, depending on when and where I wear it. The electric blue clutch (also seen here) adds just that bit of color a LBD sometimes needs.

The dress is also very easy to maintain : I just put it in the washing machine on a light program and leave it to dry on a hanger. A couple of hours later I can already wear it again… without ironing ! So it’s perfect to put in my suitcase when going on a holiday. No… you can never ever underestimate the importance of the LBD !

Love, Kathleen
