A couple of weeks ago I went to Antwerp with my youngest daughter Elizabeth. A post on this trip will be on the blog in a couple of weeks. It was a fab Sunday afternoon at the end of September, so the perfect time to take some photos of my polka dot skirt…
This skirt is from the Belgian brand Essentiel, which exists already since 1999 and is founded by Esfan Eghtessadi and Inge Onsea. Every now and then I treat myself to one of their designs and this time it was the dots on the skirt I fell in love with. They also have fab men’s wear.
As it was quite warm on the day of the shoot, I opted for a nude coloured short sleeved blouse from Esprit, which I bought last year. The colour is perfect to wear with this skirt. But the skirt can be worn with lots of things : a black turtleneck would look great with it, or my black short-sleeved blouse from Primark which you could see in this post. I’ve also got a beautiful, nude pink woollen sweater from & Other Stories which will be perfect for those colder autumn and winter days. So plenty of options!
This time I added my black G-star jacket, my soft pink scarf and my black Chie Mihara mary-janes to complement the look. I also like my necklace, which I think goes great with all the dots on my skirt 🙂
I like this outfit a lot. It’s fun, but also elegant and stylish in my opinion. What do you think ? Are you into dots or not particularly? Let me know !
Love, Kathleen
I also wore that necklace and those shoes at last week’s outfit of the week!
