A couple of months ago, my husband and I went on a weekend break to Holland. The last day of our trip we went to Wellnessresort Zwaluwhoeve, where we were pampered all day long!

At the check-out desk of the resort, several beauty products were sold and smelling one of the tubes immediately brought me back to the hamam treatment I had earlier that day… 

During this hamam treatment, the masseuse used a soap which smelled really fresh and soft. So I was ever so glad that I recognized the smell in this body cream that they sold. At only 6,50 EUR a tube I didn’t hesitate and bought two! I also bought a small tube to put into my handbag to use as a hand cream.

Now you may (or you may not) remember that at the time I was using the Vichy Idéal Body serum/milk with which I was really satisfied. As it was so light in consistency, it was perfect to use in combination with the Clarins Golden Glow Booster to give my skin a slightly darker glow.

This Dalan d’Olive body cream is different though. As it is a cream, it is much thicker in consistency. You have to rub it well into your skin, but once rubbed in it doesn’t feel greasy or anything. No, it leaves your skin really soft, hydrated, comfortable and nourished. When taking a shower the next morning, the water runs smoothly down my legs as they are still so hydrated.

Another plus is that you don’t need a lot of product, so a little goes a long way. One tube of 250 ml lasted me about 3 months, using it almost daily!

And this product absolutely smells divine!!! So fresh and soapy, but definitely not ‘granny-soapy’ if you know what I mean.

As my second tube is now well and truly on its way, I have been doing research on where I can buy this cream. I can order it online through amazon.com apparently or well… perhaps we could visit the sauna again!
