Fashion: Black turtleneck

Today in ‘outfit of the week’ yet another classic… the turtleneck! No matter what’s trending and what’s not, I’ve got to have at least one turtleneck… I just love the cosiness of the collar. Nope… I couldn’t do without a turtleneck in my wardrobe!
Now there were times when I honestly didn’t want to wear a turtleneck, no matter how cosy it might have been. But ever since I’ve lost some weight (also in the breast area that is!), I like cuddling up in a turtleneck on cold winter days. This one is from the basic collection from Esprit.

You can wear a turtleneck really casual, but I like to upgrade my turtleneck as you could see in another outfit a couple of weeks ago.  Today I chose my polkadot skirt to accompany this all-time classic. This skirt, from the Belgian brand Essentiel, I bought in September. I already did an outfit of the week about it, combining it with a short-sleeved blouse.

I’m wearing my comfortable  Chie Mihara pumps with this outfit as I think they complement the midi-length of my skirt. What jewellery is concerned, I just added my ‘timeturner’ necklace and my hoop earrings from & Other Stories.

As we were shooting on a bright and sunny day, I couldn’t do without my shades! I chose my oversized Armani sunnies to complete the look.

Do you like wearing a turtleneck? What other classics couldn’t you do without? Tell me in the comments!

Love, Kathleen

Here’s an outfit with the same necklace & earrings!

    1. Thank you so much Stella! The skirt really is an eyecatcher, isn’t it 😉 and the necklace wasn’t expensive at all but I really like it! That goes to show that you don’t always have to buy expensive stuff to look the part 😀 Love, Kathleen x

    1. Thank you so much Gemma 🙂 I’ve already had heaps of compliments about it… but then of course it’s quite the eyecatcher 😉 Enjoy your Saturday. Love, Kathleen x
